The new RISC Admin for v9 offers some new Lookup Table configurations, one for the new field added to v9 is the Type 2 Lookup, which by default is set to "Motivation". Most lookup tables are defined by simply entering the values you'd like to see in each pull-down options list into a Notepad list. But one of the lookup tables has substantially changed with v9, and that's the Type Lookup. This field contains the list of values that identify briefly WHAT HAPPENED - eg. 'Out of Uniform', 'Littering', 'Sports Award' or 'Bullying' - to help quickly categorise the incident being recorded. Now as well as defining the Type Lookup list of entries, you can also assign a weighting or "Levels" value to each entry, based on its seriousness. Let's find out how.
