The Main RISC Form showing a Form Letter was produced |
|
After having printed a letter and upon exiting the Form Letters Module, the Contact Action field is automatically updated to show that a form letter of the specified type was produced. Users can then easily search for all occurrences of that or any form letter being sent to parents. By starting with a blank RISC form, typing in FL10 into the Contact Action field and clicking the Search Using Selected Fields button, RISC will display all occurrences of the form letter FL10 being sent by the school. This can even be broken down further. You can search for all occurrences of Form Letters sent to a particular Grade/Year or all Form Letters sent by a particular teacher and so on. There is also a report in the Reports menu that will provide you a tally of how many of each form letter were produced by RISC. If the form letter sent had a parent slip at the bottom for the parent to complete and return to the school, the detail of that slip can be entered into the contact action field to further track correspondence between the school and the parent. Try and find another product that can do all of this so easily. Right now we'll take a further look at searching the database and what you can do with the data. |
